Lose weight wisely: Diet by blood group

You must have noticed: your friend claims that potatoes make her fat, and the piece of meat your mother ate for another week is reminiscent of herself with a figure on the scales. The question arises: whydo some people get better with apparently harmless foods? The American doctor Peter D'Adamo found the answer: According to his theory, the main difference between people is not weight, height and skin color, but blood type. Find out how the blood type diet works.

Girls on blood type diet

Diet by blood type

In nature there are four human blood groups and therefore four types of food. One and the same product can be ideal for one person, useless for another and "neutral" for the third, and at the same time be the main pest in the fourth's nutritional system.

Each blood group interacts in its own way with lecithins - the most important building blocks of cellular substances. Lecithins are found in all tissues in the human body and are regularly taken in with food. At the same time, the lecithins contained in meat, for example, differ in their chemical composition from the lecithins in buckwheat. A blood type diet will help you choose the exact lecithins your body needs to function happily and harmoniously. And most importantly: The "right" lecithins are excellent helpers for difficult things like losing weight.

In his research, the legendary doctor also relied on the theory of evolution, according to which each blood group appeared at different times. So their first wearers had a certain occupation and thus also the taste habits. Search for "bloody ancestors" together with Cosmo and determine which products are needed and important to you.

Diet for the first blood group

The first blood group was called "hunt". Proper nutrition for the first blood group is predictable and includes foods high in meat protein.

Say yes:

  • Red meat;
  • Offal;
  • Protein vegetables (choose broccoli, beans, and artichokes);
  • fatty varieties of sea fish and seafood;
  • Olive oil;
  • Walnuts.

Say no:

  • Foods high in gluten (wheat, oats);
  • High fat dairy products in legumes;
  • Cabbage (including Brussels sprouts) and cauliflower.

Diet for the second blood group

Representatives of the second group are characterized as "farmers" and supporters of vegetarianism and fruit nutrition. Consequently, meat products are not the most desirable guest in the diet for the second blood group.

Say yes:

  • any vegetable;
  • Vegetable oils;
  • Cereals and cereals (with extreme caution - containing gluten);
  • Fruits such as pineapples, apricots, grapefruits, figs, lemons, plums;

Say no:

  • Dairy products;
  • Wheat dishes;
  • Beans (difficult to digest due to their high protein content);
  • Drinks like soda.

If you haven't even thought about giving up meat, choose diet options: chicken, turkey, veal. And contrary to the vegetarian recommendation, you can benefit from any type of lean fish.

Diet for the third blood group

The third group was called "nomads". Representatives of this group can be called almost omnivores: almost every product is adequately perceived by their body.

Say yes:

  • animal protein sources (preferably meat and sea fish);
  • Eggs;
  • all dairy products;
  • Cereals (except buckwheat and wheat);
  • Vegetables (except corn and tomatoes);
  • different fruits.

Say no:

  • Pork and chicken;
  • Nuts, especially peanuts;
  • Olive oil;
  • Alcohol.

Compared to the others, "nomads" are relatively seldom overweight, so a diet according to the third blood group is primarily a way of regulating the metabolism and maintaining health.

Diet for the fourth blood group

The owners of the fourth blood group called D'Adamo "riddles". This group is considered the youngest of all and was formed by the merger of the first and second groups and therefore combines both its advantages and disadvantages.

Say yes:

  • Soybeans in various forms (especially tofu);
  • Fish and caviar;
  • Dairy products with any fat content;
  • green vegetables and fruits;
  • Rice;
  • Berry;
  • dry red wine.

Say no:

  • Red meat;
  • Offal;
  • Beans in any form;
  • Buckwheat, corn and wheat;
  • Fruits such as oranges, bananas, guavas, coconuts, mangoes, pomegranates, persimmons;
  • Mushrooms;
  • Nuts.

Because "mysterious" people are characterized by nervous instability and a weak gastrointestinal tract. However, the immune system of the owners of a rare fourth group is characterized by sensitivity and adaptability to all conditions.

According to D'Adamo, with a blood-group-appropriate diet, obesity will definitely only occur when the metabolic processes are established and the cells begin to receive building material.
